A Workshop Exploring the Power of the Voice

for Wellness and Inner Peace

...What is the potential of the human voice?

Whether singing in community, invoking the healing path of the shaman, or chanting sacred text, doors to inner transformation open to us with devotional practices through 'the divine sound,' or 'nada brahma.'  Come discover how you can improve your spiritual fitness through sound!

In This Workshop we will focus on:
- Singing/Chanting from an Inward, Silent Place
- Deep Listening to the Self/Others
- Cultivating a Vocal Meditation Practice
- Singing in an Well-Tuned and Embodied Way
- Overcoming Vocal Impediments

Nada yoga is an ancient and vital aspect of the yogic path that is often overlooked or missed entirely in the practices of students in the West.  Tapping into sound in its capacity as medicine for the modern mind invokes the very essence of all ancient vocal traditions:  sedation, relaxation, transportation, protection, elevation, liberation.  Utilizing Western and Eastern approaches to the voice, explore and experience how deep listening and subtle vocal tuning are essential to the art of expression and the experience of the divine through the human voice.

No experience necessary, and all are welcome!
